A new addition to the Clare Vidal-Hall Agency, Tom trained at The Motley Theatre Design Course and was a Linbury Prize finalist in 2005 for his work with Wayne MacGregor for Random Dance at Sadler’s Wells and he was also shortlisted for the Jocelyn Herbert Award for Theatre Design in 2005.

He is currently working on THE SECRET MARRIAGE for Scottish Opera and other recent productions include CITY OF ANGELS for Guildhall school of Music and Drama, LA FILLE DU REGIMENT for Opera Holland Park and LA CENERENTOLA for Scottish Opera.

Other previous design credits include EUGENE ONEGIN for British Youth Opera at the Peacock Theatre, FLIGHT at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music and Drama, LET’S MAKE AN OPERA / THE LITTLE SWEEP for Aldeburgh Productions, THE MAGIC FLUTE AND THE BROOMSTICK at Wigmore Hall, ALFONSO UND ESTRELLA at the Bloomsbury Theatre, LAUGHING GAS at BAC, London and Theatre Royal, Plymouth, followed by a South West tour, LETTERS OF WAR for the National Youth Theatre Of Great Britain, THE MAN WHO at The Orange Tree, Richmond, DEATH AND THE MAIDEN at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, THE CHIMES at The Southwark Playhouse and THE LIBRARIAN’S JOKE at the Pleasance, London.

Tom has also designed a number of productions for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama which include DIE ZAUBERFLOTE, THE WINTER’S TALE, THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND, BLACK COMEDY, CERTAIN YOUNG MEN, THE LONG CHRISTMAS DINNER, A DINNER ENGAGEMENT, TALE OF TWO CITIES and LA FINTA SEMPLICE.
