* David has just been nominated for the Tony Award for Costume Design, and he and Timothy Bird have been nominated for Set Design
* David and Timothy Bird won the Outer Critics Circle Award for ‘Outstanding Set Design (Play or Musical)’ and David was nominated for ‘Outstanding Costume Design (Play or Musical)’ along with an ‘Outstanding Revival of a Musical’ nomination

David has a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Design from Wimbledon School of Art and left in 1999 with a 1st class in Technical Arts Design. He also has a BTEC Foundation Studies in Art and Design from the Oxfordshire School of Art and Design.
