Jennie works as both a Television and Theatre director.

Jennie is currently directing another block of episodes of EASTENDERS and has directed seven previous blocks, including the ‘Whitney Week’ episodes which helped Eastenders win the 2009 RTS ‘Soap and Continuing Drama’ award. She also directed EASTENDERS ‘LAST TANGO IN WALFORD’ 25th ANNIVERSARY DVD and a block of DOCTORS for the BBC.

She studied at the Universities of London and Sheffield where she gained her Master of Arts Degree in Theatre and Film and has been an Associate Director of Hampstead Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth.

Her freelance Theatre directing work includes BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS (Watford Palace Theatre); THE NEW STATESMAN (tour & West End); ON THE CEILING (West End & Birmingham); ONE UNDER (Tricycle Theatre) and CLOUDS (on No 1 tour starring Tara Fitzgerald and Lloyd Owen).

She was also an associate on ART in the West End.
