Jennie Darnell
Jennie works as both a Television and Theatre director.
Jennie is currently directing another block of EASTENDERS, having also directed three previous blocks (including the infamous ‘almost burial’ of Max). She has also recently worked on a block of DOCTORS for the BBC.
She studied at the Universities of London and Sheffield where she gained her Master of Arts Degree in Theatre and Film and has been an Associate Director of Hampstead Theatre and Theatre Royal Plymouth.
Her recent freelance Theatre directing work includes THE NEW STATESMAN starring Rik Mayall (tour & West End); ON THE CEILING by Nigel Planer (West End & Birmingham); ONE UNDER by Winsome Pinnock (Tricycle Theatre) and CLOUDS by Michael Frayn (on No 1 tour starring Tara Fitzgerald and Lloyd Owen).
She was also an associate on ART in the West End.
