KAREN WORKS AS A CHOREOGRAPHER & DIRECTOR:-

Karen won the 2004 Olivier Award for her work on the Donmar Theatre’s PACIFIC OVERTURES and worked on the ‘1940’s flashback’ episodes in the BBC series of WAKING THE DEAD. Her recent work includes director/choreographer on THE WEDDING SINGER UK tour and director/choreographer on FOOTLOOSE and FAME, both of which recently played in the West End as well as going on UK tours, with FOOTLOOSE currently on tour again. She was associate director/choreographer on SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER in South Africa with another production opening shortly in Spain and choreographer on the recently completed UK tour of DR DOLITTLE. She also choreographed the new musical NEVER FORGET, based on the music of ‘Take That’, which is currently playing at the Savoy Theatre and soon to be touring the UK again. Karen also choreographed and directed the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and other work in TV includes HEAD OVER HEELS (Carlton), THE PAUL DANIELS MAGIC SHOW, THE LES DENNIS LAUGHTER SHOW and the LISA MAXWELL SERIES (all for the BBC).
