Working extensively with the Northern Ballet Theatre, Patricia’s directing credits include A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and CARMEN (and Royal New Zealand Ballet/ Sadler’s Wells/ Les Grands Ballets Canadiens) and her co-directing credits include CLEOPATRA (also co-creator of the scenario with David Nixon and Claude-Michel Schönberg), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (and Sadlers Wells/ UK tour, nominated for an Olivier Award for ‘Best New Dance Production’), HAMLET (also co-creator of the scenario, and UK tour/ Sadler’s Wells), PETER PAN (and Sadler’s Wells). Further work with NBT includes SLEEPING BEAUTY (co-creator of the scenario), SWAN LAKE (Dramatic Associate), WUTHERING HEIGHTS (Theatre Associate and Dramaturg) and drama consultant/ acting coach on Christopher Gable’s DRACULA, GISELLE, ROMEO AND JULIET and THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. Other work includes children’s rehearsal director on the feature film ANNA AND THE KING, starring Jodie Foster, and drama coach for Charlotte Church & Gary Barlow for their TV debut performances on HEARTBEAT. Credits as a Theatre Director include MARTINE (Salisbury Playhouse); TIME AND THE CONWAYS and NOISES OFF (Ohio USA) and the London premiere of NO FOND RETURN OF LOVE. Patricia has just finished filming her short film directorial debut, BEWARE OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR.
