He was awarded a Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme bursary in 1995 and spent 18 months at Greenwich Theatre. While there his adaptation of author J L Carr’s A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY was given a rehearsed reading, but has yet to be produced. He has also translated NAKED by Luigi Pirandello.

His work in Film and TV includes being Performance Consultant for the Oscar-winning SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and two years as a producer in the Entertainment Department of the BBC.
