Current and forthcoming productions include DIRTY DANCING (West End, Toronto, Utrecht and USA tour, previously Hamburg); IMAGINE THIS (previously Plymouth Theatre Royal, currently in the West End); THE REAL THING (Salisbury Playhouse); THE SNOWMAN (revival – Sadlers Wells) and GLAMOUR (Nottingham Playhouse). For the RSC’s 2008 season:- HAMLET starring David Tennant (also transferring to West End), LOVE’S LABOURS LOST and a revival of Greg Doran’s 2007 production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.

Other recent work includes A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY (Salisbury Playhouse), NOISES OFF (Broadway, National Theatre, West End and recent UK tour); Stephen Fry’s new version of CINDERELLA (Old Vic); BAD GIRLS THE MUSICAL, OTHERWISE ENGAGED, AS YOU LIKE IT (West End); BIG WHITE FOG, THE LIGHTNING PLAY, ENEMIES, BLOOD WEDDING (Almeida); THE CHERRY ORCHARD (Sheffield Crucible); MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG (Watermill Theatre); HAPGOOD, ALICE IN WONDERLAND (WYP & Birmingham Rep); SLEEPING BEAUTY (Barbican & New York) and the Royal Shakespeare Company’s CORIOLANUS, MERRY WIVES THE MUSICAL, ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, KING LEAR, OTHELLO, WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN, most of which have also gone to Japan, USA or the West End.

His recent Opera and Dance work includes HAMLET (Northern Ballet Theatre); ELEKTRA (Mariinsky Theatre Russia); INTO THE WOODS (ROH, Linbury Studio); LADY AND THE FOOL (Birmingham Royal Ballet); LA TRAVIATA (WNO Millennium Centre & Opus TV) and ARIADNE AUF NAXOS (WNO).

He was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award for his work on HENRY IV parts 1 & 2 in Washington & for an Olivier Award for the RSC’s production.
